The AWARD project is an initiative funded by the Department of Health and Welsh Assembly government to develop a National Qualification in Advocacy for England and Wales.
Development of the AWARD Advocacy Qualification is an incredibly exciting step. For the first time advocates will be able to access a nationally recognised qualification.
The qualification will not only help advocates to improve old skills and learn new ones, but will also provide credible evidence and recognition of their competence at providing advocacy support.
Advocates deserve the very best in training and the AWARD project aims to ensure that all advocates across England and Wales can access an approved training course of the highest standards.
