Advocacy Qualification

From an early stage in the AWARD project, it was clear that the qualification should be vocationally related.

This meant there were two types of qualification to choose from.  We could either develop a National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) or Vocational Related Qualification (VRQ).

The consultation events looked at the differences between the two types of qualification and saw a strong preference to develop a Vocational Related Qualification in Independent Advocacy.
